Seasoning for Poultry
Use the following seasoning for each pound of poultry used.
1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or garlic flakes 1/2 teaspoon onion powder or onion flakes 1/2 teaspoon red crushed pepper (optional) 1/16 teaspoon ground pepper 2 teaspoons vegetable oil 1 teaspoon vinegar
In a big bowl put water with 3 tablespoons vinegar. Put poultry in the bowl and clean with the vinegar water you just prepared. Take poultry out of the vinegar water and put in a baking pan. Mix by hand in a small bowl the seasoning ingredients in the order given. Season the poultry inside, outside and under the skin. Put the seasoned poultry in the refrigerator over night. Then cook as usual with some butter.
